Also, tomorrow we host the B meet.  Sign ups look good... but!  Please, every able bodied GHSC team and family member, help us break down the pool after the meet.  Our coaches are getting exhausted.  Our pool supervisor is working overtime to get the pool set up tonight.  Please help us by taking 5-10 minutes while your athlete is getting changed to return the pool to its pre-meet condition so those other team members can collapse from exhaustion as I anticipate doing.

Subject: GHSC final week
 
Dear GHSC,
 
So we have reached the finish line.  Here is what is planned for our final week:
 
Monday         -     practice times start as usual.  We will be in a light load however, so please expect each practice (except the Minnows) to end roughly 15 minutes early.  The sharks should be done by 9:15, Dolphins and Snappers by 10:15.
 
Tuesday        -      NO practice for 12&Under A team.  Sharks will go 8-9:15.  I will be there by the 7:30 start time for those kids that must show up early.  Dolphins and Snappers will practice together 9-10:15. Minnows 10-11.
                    -      12&Under A meet @ Hudsonville, warm up 2:30, meet starts at 4.  Should last until 7:30 or so.  Bring neat snacks and drinks.  Their season is over.
                    -      Hudsonville Freshman Campus
 
Wednesday  -       No practice for 13&Up A team.  Dolphin and Snapper B team members will go 9-10:15.  Minnows 10-11.
                   -       13&Up A meet @ Calvin College, warm up 2:30, meet starts at 4.  Should last a little past 7:30, again, neat snacks and drinks.  Their season is over.
                   -        Calvin College, Venema Aquatic Center  Be aware, highway 96 is open East Bound, but closed West Bound (going home).
 
Thursday     -         Practice season is over
                  -         We are hosting the B meet.  Warm up starts at 8, meet starts 9:30.
                  -         WE NEED Volunteers.  Please participate in the enjoyment and education of our kids. We will need many A team families to help.  Our program is about introducing kids to competitive swimming.  Many of us are past  that, but we all need to remember how excited out newcomers were, and try and give the best experience possible to our future A team members.  Asking for timers last minute is embarrassing and does not reflect well on our program.
                   -      B meet Sign Up Genius 
                   -      Weather permitting, team Banquet in the Hamm family backyard, please bring desserts to share, your own drinks, dinnerware and chairs.  Start 7pm, ends hopefully by 8.  The kids are welcome to go swimming, paddling, kayaking or whatever else they would ejoy (lots of yard for yard games).  End of Season!
 
Attached below are the entries for our championships.  Please review.  If your athlete cannot swim in a meet they are entered in, please let me know.  I will be available for questions, particularly relays, during Monday's practice.
