Our short week will be very busy.  Practice as usual Wed and Fri.  Meet at Jenison on Thursday.  Warm up begins at 4:20, the meet starts at 5:30.  Will be a long meet, but yes at this point they are still accepting deck entries, so you can still signup at the meet.

To signup for next week's Hudsonville meet, you must beat the deadline, Friday at midnight.  I will turn in our team entries at that time, no exceptions.  You must first choose your events from our meet signups page, then go to the NORA web site to pay.  Hudsonville will accept deck entries so if you miss our deadline, please plan to enter and pay at the meet.

Just a reminder, our team apparel store is open.  It will close 12/16.  Great looking stuff!

Dear GHSC,

Thanks for a great meet.  WONDERFUL attendance.  Having done some racing so early in the season will really payoff in mid February.  Thanks to everyone that helped make the event go so well.  We will have another home meet in late January.  Results are posted on the meet signups page.

The caps were here.  I misplaced them.  We hope that they were retrieved by a school staff member, but as of this moment, let's just assume I lost the caps.  I will get a new order placed as soon as I can.  Terribly sorry for the delay.

Last week I entered our team into both the Zeeland invitational meet (12/15) and the Jenison meet (12/27).  I have not yet received any information regarding our Hudsonville meet.  The official Zeeland entries have been returned and will be posted on the appropriate meet signups page.  Jenison too as soon as I receive them.  Please remember, Zeeland is a 2 session meet, 10&Under in the morning, 11&Up in the afternoon.

This week:

Practice as normal;  M, Tu, W, and F
Thursday there is no practice due the varsity swim meet.
Saturday Zeeland Invite:  morning warm up at 8, afternoon warmup at 12:00

Attached you will find the lineup for Saturday's meet.  Also, below is the link to our SignUp Genius for volunteers.  Please help make our program everything you and your athlete want it to be.

We start warm up at 8.  Set up crew, please arrive by 7:30 so we can be sure the pool is completely ready and working prior to warm up.

Events start at 9.

I hope each athlete will stay until the end of the meet.  Firstly to cheer on their teammates.  Secondly at the end of the meet to cheer and thank the opposition.  And finally, to assist in cleanup and getting the pool back to its normal operating setup.

Great weekend!  About 75% our swims were PR's (personal records).  That's awesome.  Awards will be available before and after practice today.  We lay them out on a table.  If something is missing, please let me know and I will see if another team has them.

Our week will look like this:
Mon - normal practices,  6-8:30
Tue - delayed practices for every group, by 15 minutes.   Varsity swimming will be in late, so we will start late.
         6:15,7:00 and 7:15
Wed - normal practices, 6-8:30  AND final day to sign up for the Zeeland invitational 12/15
Thur - normal practices, 6-8:30  AND final day to sign up for the Jenison invitational 12/27
Fri    - normal practices, 6-8:30
Saturday - HOME dual meet against Zeeland, warm up at 8, meet at 9, check in by 7:45.

I have only 5 athletes on my "not Available" list for Saturday's meet.  So everyone else is in and on relays:)!!
