W-F - practice as usual
Sat. - B championships in Hamilton, please read below
B meet competitors that are not scheduled to swim in the A meet next weekend will conclude their season this week. Those still competing in A meet relays will continue to practice next week.
As always, I am trying very hard to get as many A meet relays swum as possible. It can be a really fun meet, it gives kids great experience, it's the best way to get as many kids on both rosters as many swims a possible.
Our league rule is: maximum of 3 races, maximum of 2 individual races. Also, if an athlete makes an A meet qualifying time, they cannot compete in the B meet. However, an athlete that does not qualify for individual races in the A meet, CAN still participate in the A meet as a member of a relay, but then would only be eligible for 2 races in the B meet.

B Meet:
Saturday, Feb. 3, at Hamilton middle school. Warm up begins at 8, meet at 9. Please be early, check in with your coaches by 7:30. The earlier we are, the better deck space we can claim. It's a big meet, should last about 2.5-3 hours.

A Meet:
Friday, Feb. 9th 11&Up @ Holland Aquatics Center (this time we swim in the big pool where our turn and dive clinic was). Warm up begins at 5, meet at 6. Please check in with your coaches by 4:30. Expect over 3 hours of races. Snack and meal accordingly.

Saturday, Feb. 10th, 10&Under @ East Kentwood High School. Warm up begins at 8:30, the meet at 10:00. Please check in with your coaches by 8. Expect more than 3 hours of races. Good healthy, easy to clean up snacks. Any thing with too much sugar will leave them sluggish and slow come race time.
